Leeds United fans on Twitter have been responding to the latest social media post from the Yorkshire club.

This comes after the official Leeds Twitter account shared a post on their page relaying comments made by Whites midfielder Mateusz Klich on the club’s upcoming showdown against Manchester United at Old Trafford.

Nice easy one to start off with, what number does Phillips wear for Leeds United?

Speaking to LUTV, Klich was asked about the team’s motivation heading into this game against the Red Devils, to which he replied that they will try to win the game “for the fans”.

This post then gathered a lot of replies from Leeds fans, who were quick to share their responses to this post.

So, what did these Leeds fans have to say about Mateusz Klich’s comments?

The last time Leeds took on United in the Premier League came back in February 2004 when they snatched a 1-1 draw at Old Trafford.

According to Transfermarkt, Leeds have played United 24 times in the Premier League, in which they have won four, drawn seven and lost 13.

Do you think Leeds will beat Manchester United?

Now that the official Leeds Twitter account has shared this post onto their page, this paved the way for lots of Whites fans to have their say on the fixture.

Looking at the responses to this post, it’s obvious that these Leeds fans are looking forward to taking on United and that they recognise the importance of the fixture and the rivalry between the two sides.

With both teams heading into this fixture off the back of previous league wins, it’s safe to say that both will want to go for all three points again today.

In our view, if Leeds manage to get a win at Old Trafford this weekend after getting promoted to the Premier League this year after 16 years away, this will be a huge win for the club and the supporters, which will see them at least temporarily creep into the top half of the league table.
