Supporters of Leeds United have flocked to a social media post which was shared on Twitter by the Whites’ left-back Ezgjan Alioski.
During the midweek round of Premier League fixtures, Marcelo Bielsa’s outfit hosted Steve Bruce’s Newcastle United at Elland Road and defeated them 5-2 (per BBC).
In the clash, there were seven different scorers between the two sides as the Whites claimed three points.
One of those who bagged for Leeds was Alioski and following the game, he shared four images on Twitter and claimed he was ‘thrilled’ with the side’s five goals as he looked forward to the Whites’ clash with Manchester United on Sunday.
Following this social media post, lots of Leeds fans flocked to it to air their thoughts.

The North Macedonian national has been situated at Elland Road since he was signed from FC Lugano in the summer of 2017 and he has made 145 appearances for the Whites since then (per Transfermarkt).

Alioski has made 11 appearances for the Whites in the Premier League so far this season, in which he has scored one goal and provided no assists (per WhoScored).
His performances have been relatively decent, too, as he has earned a 6.61/10 average rating, although that has made him Leeds’ ninth-worst performer in the league.
