Leeds United fans couldn’t get enough of seeing one of the goals during their recent victory over West Bromwich Albion, which was shared by the club.
Marcelo Bielsa’s men were ‘running riot’ at the Hawthorns as they thrashed Sam Allardyce’s men 5-0, and scored some very entertaining goals in the process, arguably none more so than their 4th which was scored by summer signing Rodrigo.
And although the finish was a little bit lucky given that it took a pretty big deflection on its way past Sam Johnstone, that didn’t stop Leeds United fans from enjoying everything that happened in the build-up to it, whilst some also found a little bit of humour in what happened afterwards between the goalscorer and the man who set him up for it Mateusz Klich:
“Running riot as worthy champions playing still every bit as worthy prem football. Masterclass style. No running on empty for us”
Can Bielsa's style of play be effective in the long-run?
Yes
No
With Leeds being one of the highest-scoring teams in the division so far this season, we’re sure we’re bound to see plenty of similar goals to this between now and the end of the season, but hopefully there will be less painful celebrations that accompany them.
