The Liverpool Echo journalist Sam Carroll has recently discussed the future of Everton striker Moise Kean, who is currently on loan at Paris Saint-Germain.

In the summer of 2019, the Toffees secured the services of the Italian for a £24.75m fee from Serie A giants Juventus (per Transfermarkt).

During his first season in the Premier League, Kean made 29 league appearances for Everton, in which he bagged just two goals and provided two assists.

So, during the latest summer transfer window, the Italian youngster was shipped out on a season-long loan to the current French champions (per BBC).

During a recent episode of the Liverpool Echo’s Royal Blue: The Everton FC Podcast, Carroll discussed the future of the 20-year-old forward.

To kick off this quiz on Seamus Coleman, what squad number does the right-back currently wear for the Toffees?

He said: “I think the more goals he scores and the more performances he has – it’s tough, but I’d still edge towards it being a win-win, to be honest.

“I think if he keeps scoring for PSG, and PSG turn around and say they want to keep him, then look, we’ve still got him on a pretty long-term contract.

“[They’re] one of the richest football clubs, if not the richest football club, in the world. Let’s hope that we could get close to doubling our money for a player who has only scored a couple of Premier League goals.

“On the other hand then, if Marcel Brands and Carlo Ancelotti are totally set on keeping him when he comes back, then he’s going to be full of confidence, isn’t he? It does seem to be working out for him at PSG.

“So, probably one to keep our eye on closer to the time, but I’m not too sure we’ll see him in an Everton shirt again.”

TIF Thoughts on what Sam Carroll said about Moise Kean’s future…

As can be seen in what the reporter had to say, he believes that the current situation is a ‘win-win’ for the Toffees as they could either get back an in-form player or be able to sell him for a profit.

Would you mind if Moise Kean was sold to PSG permanently?

Certainly, since joining PSG, the Italian has been in impressive form for the Ligue 1 outfit.

Across the league and the Champions League, the 20-year-old striker has netted seven goals and provided one assist in 12 appearances (per Transfermarkt).

Over his seven outings in Ligue 1, Kean has earned an impressive 7.25/10 average rating, making him their fifth-best performer (per WhoScored).

So, at the end of his loan, it will be interesting to see if PSG do indeed want to purchase the Italian and then if so, how much they are willing to pay for the £22.5m-rated man.
