In what month did Mikel Arteta take over as the Arsenal boss?

One of the topics that the Goal reporter spent some time on was Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, who suffered a calf injury and could be out for a week or possibly two, but either way, the Gunners might miss him in at least a couple of matches.

Watts seems to believe that this could prove to be another problem for Mikel Arteta.

He said: (12:42) [He] wasn’t helped by Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and his calf injury.

“He couldn’t really put a timescale on it.

“So, the latest update on Aubameyang is that he could be [out for] one or two weeks.

“If it’s two weeks, then that is going to take until January basically, so [they] could be without the skipper for a few games.”

Do you think Arsenal will miss Aubameyang?

TIF Thoughts on Aubameyang’s injury…

The 31-year-old did not feature against Everton, and even if he is only out for a week, he will not play against Manchester City and could be unlikely to face Chelsea, so not the best of news for Arsenal.

Despite not being in the best of form this season, Aubameyang is still Arsenal’s joint-top goalscorer in the league with three goals.

Considering they have only scored 12 all season, you would think that Arsenal will pose less of a threat for any games that Aubameyang is missing.

His goalscoring record in the Premier League is brilliant, so we feel that the Gunners will miss Aubameyang for however long he is out for.
