An easy one to kick off our quiz on the 2020 summer transfer window in the EFL, which player left Birmingham City to join Borussia Dortmund?

On the topic of the club’s wage issue, Frostick had this to say on the matter. (5.44)

She said: “I’m led to believe that the coaching staff were okay and they were paid in full. At the moment, I think the players are due their December wages in the next few days, they still only have the partial payment for November so they’ve had assurances that it should be coming any day now.”

Earlier in the month, it was reported by Frostick for The Athletic that the Yorkshire club failed to pay players their wages in full for November, prompting the Professional Footballers’ Association (PFA) to be called in to offer advice to those affected.

TIF Thoughts on Nancy Frostick’s comments on Wednesday’s wage problems…

While there seems to have been some progress made with the wage issue at the club due to the fact that the coaching staff have apparently been paid in full, it’s still disappointing to hear that the players are still waiting to get their full wages for November almost a month later than expected.

Are you disappointed by this issue at the club?

In regards to the EFL and the action they could potentially make over this issue, Frostick reported that it is “within their powers to impose a transfer embargo on clubs that fail to make wage payments to players,” which could seriously disrupt their campaign if they are not allowed to sign any players in January, especially with the club currently sat in the relegation zone of the table and without a manager.
