Lots of Celtic fans have taken to Twitter to share their criticism for Hoops attacker Odsonne Edouard after their Europa League defeat to Sparta Prague.
This comes after Neil Lennon’s side fell to a 4-1 defeat at Celtic Park thanks to three goals from Lukas Julis and one from Ladislav Krejci that comfortably secured the win for the Czech side.
Edouard, who started the match before being substituted in the second half, was the target for a lot of criticism on Twitter from this group of Celtic supporters.
So, what did these Celtic fans make of Edouard’s latest display?
People on here saying Edouard should be in the French squad ahead of Thuram. He’s lucky to be in the Celtic squad at the moment.

Time for you to go Neil, Do the decent thing as you are the man who puts the team on the Park. Edouard is a disgrace and should never wear the hoops agin. Clearly feels he should be playing somewhere else. Yes in the under 21’s preferably.

Embarrassing performance from Edouard, no point having him on the pitch. #Celtic

Celtic originally signed Edouard, who is currently valued at £13.5 million (as per Transfermarkt), on a loan deal from Paris Saint-Germain back in 2017. In 2018, Celtic signed the striker on a permanent basis for a fee of £9.27 million.
Edouard clearly doesn’t want to be at Celtic. He looks bored.

Overall, the 22-year-old has made 138 appearances for Celtic, in which he has managed to score 66 goals and provide 32 assists along the way.
Scott Brown was so far off it, improved when he came off. Duffy is just all over the place. Flashes of Rogic’s brilliance in the 2nd half but too little too late, didn’t give him the ball enough in my opinion. Edouard looks completely disinterested.

Glasgow Live gave Edouard a match rating of 5/10 for his performance against Sparta Prague and said that the Frenchman “started brightly but ultimately didn’t offer enough,” before saying that he “needs to be more involved.”
Look at that movement from Griffiths compared to Edouard. Embarrassing

Looking at these tweets from this group of Celtic fans, it’s clear to see that they aren’t happy with Edouard and his latest performance for the club.
Moving forward, Edouard will need to start putting in some good performances for Celtic if he wants to get these Hoops fans back on his side.
