Many Celtic supporters have been responding to a Twitter post in which the club have announced both Kristoffer Ajer and Mohamed Elyounoussi have been called up to the Norway squad for their upcoming international fixtures. 

Lars Lagerbäck’s side is due to face Israel in a friendly, followed by UEFA Nations League ties with Romania and Austria later this month (as per BBC Sport).

Ajer has appeared 11 times in the Scottish Premiership so far this season for Neil Lennon’s side (as per Transfermarkt) and Elyounoussi has played 10 times so far.

It’s clear from the above responses that these fans, particularly with regards to Kristoffer Ajer, are concerned about the 22-year-old after he limped off during the 2-2 draw with Lille in the UEFA Europa League midweek (as per the Daily Record) and believe he should skip the upcoming international fixtures in order to ensure he is fit again for Celtic as soon as possible.
