Many Celtic supporters have flocked to social media in order to react to a Twitter post from the club’s official account announcing their global partnership with Cadbury.
According to the Hoops’ website, to celebrate the partnership, Cadbury will be making 1,967 Celtic FC Dairy Milk bars to commemorate the club’s 1967 European Cup triumph. The communication claims that that partnership will ‘benefit local communities during such difficult times.’
All the proceeds from the special edition chocolate bars will be going to the Celtic Foundation, which has already provided support to the value of over £900,000 (as per celticfc.net).
How have a sample of Celtic supporters responded to this Cadbury announcement?
Joking aside. Well done to everyone who helped raise all the funds for the foundation to help the communities. £900.000 is an amazing amount. ?

Whilst most supporters appeared delighted that through this partnership, the club would be able to raise further funds to donate to those in need through their foundation, one fan joked with regards to the centre-back situation at Celtic Park.
Neil Lennon’s side are due to face Sparta Prague in the UEFA Europa League later this week before travelling to Motherwell in the Scottish Premiership at the weekend – and victories in both fixtures would no doubt be sweet.
