Many Celtic fans have been talking about the latest tweet that former defender Kieran Tierney recently posted on social media.
Tierney’s tweet came after Scotland managed to beat Serbia on penalties in the play-off final of the Euro 2020 qualifying stages after the game had ended 1-1 following extra time. Tierney’s tweet following the game said ‘Yesi’.
The left-back started the game against Serbia on Thursday and his tweet caught the attention of many Celtic fans. They flocked to their former player’s tweet and flocked to congratulate the Arsenal man.

Tierney, 23, left Parkhead to join Arsenal in the summer of 2019 for a fee of £25 million (as per BBC Sport).
In the game against Serbia, Tierney started at left centre-back, while Andy Robertson had started as left-back. Tierney picked up a rating of 6.2/10 in the outing though did not make a single tackle or interception in the game (according to WhoScored).
Some other Celtic fans were also raving at the tweet from their former defender.
You were top notch tonight my man just like the full squad.

These Celtic fans are clearly delighted for Tierney and are glad that he’s helped Scotland qualify for Euro 2020.
Tierney picked up the lowest rating for Scotland in the game, which suggests that his performance wasn’t exactly great. Having said that, this is the first time since 1998 that Scotland have qualified for a major tournament and Celtic fans are right to be happy that a former Bhoy has played a role in helping the country achieve that.
