Many Celtic fans have flocked to the latest tweet that Keith Jackson recently relayed on social media.
Jackson’s latest tweet concerned his article for the Daily Record. The article talked about the idea of Celtic bringing back Gordon Strachan to replace Neil Lennon. The piece claims that Peter Lawwell has remained in contact with Strachan and he still has respect and trust for the former Hoops boss (as per the Daily Record).
Do you want Strachan to replace Neil Lennon?
Yes
No
The article says that Strachan would be a ‘safe pair of hands’ in case of an emergency situation at Parkhead. Jackson’s tweet involving this article caught the attention of many Celtic fans, who made their opinions clear about it.
What did Celtic fans make of this tweet from Keith Jackson?

Waste of a headline / column, absolutely nothing to suggest this call is being considered

This is the ramp up starting, if we haven’t changed management by the end of today then we won’t be changing at all. Worst thing we can do is give this lot the ammo to wear the team down and create division. https://t.co/GSlESoaMEh

The article states that calling Strachan up isn’t a call that Lawwell would wish to make, but it doesn’t mean that it won’t be a solution for the problems that Celtic currently have. It is claimed that giving out a ‘save our season’ plea to Strachan could prove to be the quick fix that might be staring Lawwell and Dermot Desmond in the face (as per the Daily Record).
Some other Celtic fans also flocked to the tweet from Jackson.
Jackson knows nothing about what Peter Lawwell is or isn’t thinking. I’m amazed anyone reads this garbage or worse, believes anything he writes. https://t.co/xJWIfA7qsY

Have you reviewed the latest Rangers accounts yet Keith? If not you should as they are an utter car crash.
Worrying times ahead for them.

Some of these Celtic fans don’t want to believe the article involving Strachan and one fan believes that Jackson doesn’t know anything about Lawwell’s plans.
Strachan last managed a football club back in 2010, when he was in charge of Middlesbrough. He was there for about one year and after leaving Middlesbrough, he only managed the Scottish national team (as per Transfermarkt).
Considering how long it has been since he last managed a club, it might be a bad idea to replace Lennon with Strachan.
