Many Celtic fans have been talking about the latest tweet from the club that recently emerged on social media.

The club’s tweet came following Celtic’s 4-1 loss to Sparta Prague on Thursday, which featured a video of Neil Lennon talking after the game.

Lennon said that the scoreline of the game didn’t do the team’s performance any justice, and that the team started the game well. He labelled their reaction in the first 35 minutes of the second half as ‘excellent’ and claimed they deserved to be level. Lennon also said that while it was a disappointing result, some positives could be taken from the performance.

Can Lennon still turn things around?

This caught the attention of many Celtic fans, who began talking about what Lennon had to say.

What did Celtic fans make of Neil Lennon’s comments?

The Hoops have now been knocked out of the Europa League after failing to win a single game in the group stage of the competition this season. In the Premiership, they’re 11 points behind Rangers and while they have two games in hand, they’ve won just a single game in the last four league outings (as per Transfermarkt).

While it has been reported that Lennon’s position is secure, some other Celtic fans also began talking about the manager’s latest comments.

These Celtic fans are making their negative opinions clear about Lennon.

In all competitions, the Bhoys have won just two games in the last nine outings. In the Europa League, they have conceded a total of 13 goals in the group stages and they have let in 13 goals already in the league (as per Transfermarkt).

Because of how things have been in recent games, it is understandable why Celtic fans aren’t optimistic at all about the club’s current situation.
