A lot of Tottenham Hotspur fans have flocked to a tweet that was recently posted by Spurs-focused Twitter account @LastWordOnSpurs which relayed the news that Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano has claimed that the Lilywhites are interested in signing RB Leipzig captain Marcel Sabitzer.
The 26-year-old Austrian was recently linked with a move to the Lilywhites by German publication Sport Bild, as per Sport Witness.
Now, as shared by @THFCReports on Twitter, Romano has issued a claim on Tottenham’s interest in the player via his official Instagram account, as he replied to a comment to state that the north London club is interested in signing the £31.5m-rated RB Leipzig man.
So, how did these Tottenham Hotspur fans react to @LastWordOnSpurs’ tweet sharing this news regarding their club’s interest in Sabitzer?

His work rate is up there with Harry, he can score with shots outside the box. Can also bang a free kick.

However, not all of the Spurs fans that replied to this tweet were positive about the Lilywhites being linked with a move for Sabitzer, with some Tottenham supporters indicating that they believe Dele Alli, who has appeared in just two of Spurs’ first eight league games this term, could be a better option than Sabitzer.
Sadly we have to go spend big money on this player when we have a player at the club that once did a better job and could do what he does and maybe better in @dele_official but his form has been really poor last 2 seasons would love to have him back again without spending

Would Sabitzer be a good signing for Spurs?
YES
NO
So, judging by these replies to this tweet, while at least a couple of Lilywhites fans seem to have issues with their club targeting Sabitzer, it’s clear that the majority of these Spurs supporters would be in favour of their club signing the 26-year-old RB Leipzig skipper.
