Many Tottenham Hotspur fans have been talking about the latest update involving Danny Rose that recently emerged on social media.
Football.london has recently reported that one of the first things that Daniel Levy is looking to do in the January transfer window is move Rose on. The Englishman is training away from the club’s first-team and he wasn’t included in Spurs’ Europa League and Premier League squads (as per Football.london).
Do you feel bad for Danny Rose?
Yes
No
The report claims that Spurs won’t be getting a big fee from Rose’s potential sale but he doesn’t have a future at the club anymore.
A tweet about this update was relayed on Twitter by Last Word On Spurs and it caught the attention of many Tottenham fans.
What did Spurs fans make of this update involving Danny Rose?
He can still be the best left back in England. I’d love it if him and the club worked something out and he finished the season off properly. How this is ending isn’t right. All parties are losing out.

Just pay up his contract and release him – long serving player, deserves better than current treatment.

Rose was loaned out to Newcastle United in the second half of the 2019/20 campaign and he returned to Spurs at the end of the season. Middlesbrough were interested in signing the player in the summer but the left-back stayed at Spurs and his current deal at the club runs out in the summer of 2021.
For Spurs last season, Rose had made 12 Premier League appearances and he had played four Champions League games too (as per Transfermarkt). Some other Spurs fans also reacted to the update involving the left-back.
Just give him a free…has served the club well and is a decent lad https://t.co/26RhPU3JeS

If only rose could force his way back into mourinho’s team with commitment and compromise we might have a moment like this pic.twitter.com/5PD9CeD1We

Some of these Spurs fans aren’t happy about Rose’s situation and feel that the end of his Tottenham career doesn’t do justice to how he served the club in the past.
Rose has made as many as 214 appearances in all competitions for Spurs. He has even scored ten goals, while picking up 29 assists for the club (as per Transfermarkt). Because of that, it is understandable why Spurs fans are disappointed about how his career at the club is ending.
Since his contract at the club runs out in the summer of 2021, it makes sense for Spurs to sell him in January as they wouldn’t want to see him leave on a free transfer.
