Fans of Tottenham Hotspur have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relayed a report claiming that Spurs, along with West Ham United, are interested in former Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud.

As reported by CalcioMercato (as per the Daily Mail), Paris Saint-Germain, West Ham, Tottenham, Inter Miami and Inter Milan are all thought to be keen on the Chelsea striker, who is reportedly prepared to quit Frank Lampard’s side in January in order to improve his chances of landing a place in the French national team’s squad for the European Championships next summer.

So, what did these Tottenham Hotspur fans have to say in reaction to the reports linking Spurs with Olivier Giroud?

Since moving to Chelsea from Arsenal in what was a £15.3 million deal back in January 2018, the 34-year-old has gone on to feature 96 times for the west London side, scoring 30 goals and providing 14 assists, while, in his time at Arsenal, the striker scored 105 goals and provided 41 assists over 253 appearances.

However, despite his impressive returns in terms of goals and assists, and in stark contrast to the previous fans, other sections of the Tottenham Hotspur faithful appeared rather less keen on their club making a move for Giroud.

All in all, it would seem opinion is somewhat split amongst these Tottenham fans as to whether or not they would like to see their club make a move for Giroud, with some seeming very happy with the link to the striker, while others have stated their belief that Spurs do not need the 34-year-old.
