Fans of Tottenham Hotspur have been reacting to a post on Twitter, in which Oliver Skipp discussed Jose Mourinho’s comments regarding his future.
Earlier this year, the Spurs boss was quoted as saying he saw Skipp as a potential future captain of Tottenham, as well as raving about the 20-year-old’s character and personality.
In response, speaking to Along Come Norwich (via TranSPURS), Skipp stated that, while he was appreciative of his manager’s comments, he wanted to prove himself on the pitch.
So, what did these Tottenham Hostpur fans have to say in reaction to Oliver Skipp’s comments?

So far in his Spurs career, Skipp has featured 23 times for the first team, chipping in with two assists.
This season, the £6.48 million-rated midfielder was sent on a season-long loan to Championship side Norwich City, where he has so far played 11 times for Daniel Farke’s team, over which he has made an average of 2.3 tackles, 1.2 interceptions and 58 passes per game, as well as averaging a WhoScored match rating of 6.86 – ranking him as the club’s eighth-best performer in the second tier.
