Spurs fans on Twitter have been reacting to a tweet from Football.london journalist Alasdair Gold regarding Tanguy Ndombele.
The reporter quoted a tweet from the French national team which revealed that Hugo Lloris and Moussa Sissoko had both been called up for Les Bleus’ upcoming fixtures against Finland, Portugal and Sweden. However, there is no place in the squad for Ndombele, despite the 23-year-old having appeared in all of Spurs’ Premier League fixtures so far this season, which is a stark improvement on the previous campaign when fitness issues were one of the reasons why he was only able to make 12 starts in the top flight in his debut season with the north London club.
Gold suggested in his tweet that whilst this news might be disappointing for the former Lyon man, it could be good news for Spurs as it means he can continue training and working on his fitness with Jose Mourinho.
Should Ndombele have been called up?
Yes
No
So, how did these Spurs fans react to Alasdair Gold’s tweet on Ndombele?
Fully fit and firing Tanguy for City after the international break

Definitely good news for spurs! Tanguy will get his euros call up as long as he stays fit this season

Not bad news, but how has he not made that

Overall, it seems very clear that these Spurs fans believe that Ndombele should have made the squad, but they agree that it could be to the benefit of the team that he is staying at home during the international break.
