On the latest episode of the Last Word on Spurs podcast, Ricky Sacks, Chris Cowlin, Lee McQueen and Jamie Brown have been reflecting on the Lilywhites’ 3-1 win against Ludogorets in the Europa League on Thursday evening.

One topic of discussion on the recent episode, which was titled: ‘Another Kane Landmark‘, was Harry Kane. The 27-year-old grabbed his 200th goal in a Spurs shirt in the win against Ludogorets, which he has managed in just 300 games for the north London club (per Transfermarkt).

How well can you remember Spurs' season so far? 1. Who is Spurs' top scorer in all competitions so far this season?

Cowlin was quick to praise the England captain during the podcast but raised the concern that without trophy success, the striker may be keen to leave the Lilywhites in the not too distant future:

“He’s got all of these individual records, a superb professional footballer. The records that he is breaking are just amazing, but we’ve said many, many times, we want to see him winning trophies at Tottenham.

“If we don’t win trophies soon, then there is a real chance that he may leave to chase the trophies because he’s not getting any younger, and it’s all about winning trophies in your professional career.

“We’ve run out of things to say about Harry Kane, 200 goals in 300 games is just simply incredible. This season so far: 13 games, 12 goals, 10 assists – the numbers just speak for themselves.”

TIF Thoughts on Cowlin’s praise for Harry Kane…

As Cowlin suggests, Kane’s numbers are incredible, and he will surely be eyeing up the chance to become Spurs’ all-time top goalscorer, with Jimmy Greaves having notched 266 for the Lilywhites during his career.

Will Kane leave Spurs if they don't win something this season?

However, Cowlin also raises the concern that if Spurs don’t end their long wait for a trophy this season, with their last honour coming in 2008 when they won the League Cup, then Kane may well consider leaving Spurs, as unfortunately for the 27-year-old, he is yet to win a trophy in his career.
