A lot of Tottenham Hotspur fans have been replying to a tweet that was recently posted by Spurs-focused Twitter account @LastWordOnSpurs which relayed an injury update from Wales’ caretaker manager Robert Page concerning Spurs loanee Gareth Bale.

Bale played 78 minutes of Spurs’ Premier League win over West Bromwich Albion last Sunday but after coming off the pitch, an image emerged of the Wales international with an ice pack around his ankle.

However, Wales’ caretaker boss has eased concerns over the 31-year-old’s fitness ahead of Wales’ upcoming international fixtures against the United States, the Republic of Ireland and Finland, as he has confirmed that the attacker “is fit” for those games, indicating that the injury he seemingly sustained for Tottenham versus West Brom was not too serious.

So, how did these Tottenham Hotspur fans react to this injury update on Bale?

Plenty of Spurs fans replied to this post to share some concern over the possibility that the £22.5m-rated man will get injured on international duty.
