Spurs fans on Twitter have been reacting to an Instagram post from Jose Mourinho following the 3-1 win against Ludogorets on Thursday evening.
The Portuguese manager posted on Instagram following the game, saying: “When you win but you don’t play especially well.” Alongside this was a photo of him eating on a sofa. This was subsequently shared on Twitter by Hotspur Related, which unsurprisingly attracted the attention of a lot of Lilywhites supporters.
Goals from Harry Kane, Lucas Moura and Giovani Lo Celso secured a comfortable win for Spurs in Bulgaria (per BBC Sport), but it still seems as if Mourinho is expecting a lot more from his team. The Lilywhites will now be preparing for their trip to The Hawthorns this weekend, where three points against West Brom will see them go top of the table, ahead of Leicester City and Liverpool’s respective fixtures that follow on Sunday.

Ice cold of him to tag Ludogrets in the post being all “When you lose to a team that played poorly.”

We scored 5 less goals than we should have.
In the 2’nd half we lost control in midfield

I wish he’d stop this IG cult he’s developing, but I fully agree with the sentiment. We have to get better at putting teams away convincingly when we’re clearly the superior team. https://t.co/TKY87gP41M

Overall, whilst some Spurs fans seem a little confused by Mourinho’s post, other fans agreed that there is always room for improvement and seem happy that he is so demanding of his players.
