Spurs fans on Twitter have been reacting to a post from Giovani Lo Celso following the Lilywhites’ 3-1 win against Ludogorets in the Europa League on Thursday night.
The Argentinian midfielder took to Twitter to share his delight with the victory, writing:
‘Happy to score, but even happier for the team’s win in a tough stadium. COYS’
The 24-year-old scored Spurs’ third goal of the evening in Bulgaria after an assist from Heung-Min Son (per BBC Sport).
For his performance, the former PSG man picked up an impressive 7.97 rating, which was the third-best of any Tottenham player on the night (per WhoScored). However, it seems as if Jose Mourinho is expecting more from his midfielder, as he admitted after the game that whilst Lo Celso impressed him with his work on the ball, his work off the ball could have been a lot better (per Alasdair Gold).
Should Lo Celso start on Sunday?
