How well can you remember Spurs' season so far? 1. Who is Spurs' top scorer in all competitions so far this season?

One of the managers he spent a little bit of time on was Mauricio Pochettino, the former Tottenham Hotspur manager.

According to McGarry, it looks like Pochettino, after nearly a year out of the game, now wants to get back involved and take on another job as manager of a European club.

McGarry claimed that Pochettino’s representatives can see some top jobs becoming available soon, and they are now trying to create a market for the former Spurs boss.

Initially quoting a source close to Pochettino, he said: “‘He is both impatient and agitated to get back to work.’

“He was linked with a job in Russia at Zenit St. Petersburg.

“However, we have been informed that his representatives are trying to create a market around the former Tottenham head coach because they see major jobs potentially coming up on the horizon.

“I mean the top jobs in world football – Barcelona have recently employed Ronald Koeman as their head coach, but his president [Josep Bartomeu], the one who appointed him, resigned this week.

“Zinedine Zidane is under pressure at Real Madrid, and of course, there are still questions over both Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s capability to make Man Utd a progressive and challenging side, as well as Pep Guardiola’s contract expiring at the end of this season at Manchester City.”

Do you think Pochettino will get a top job?

TIF Thoughts on Pochettino and McGarry’s information on his potential future…

While the Argentine was with Spurs, he transformed them and led the club to four top-four finishes in the Premier League as well as the Champions League final.

He did not win anything with Spurs, but the way he developed the likes of Harry Kane and Dele Alli helped propel his status as one of the best managers in the world.

Since he was sacked by Tottenham nearly a year ago, the Argentine has been linked with the likes of Real Madrid, Manchester United, Newcastle United and Zenit St. Petersburg.

However, if McGarry’s information is correct, then Pochettino and his representatives have their eyes on a job at a top club and not a move to Russia at this moment in time.

It will be intriguing to see what happens at the four clubs McGarry mentioned and if they do decide to replace their current manager with the former Spurs boss.
