A lot of Tottenham Hotspur fans have flocked to a tweet that was recently posted by Spurs-focused Twitter account @thespursweb which relayed some footage of Lilywhites centre-back Toby Alderweireld training in the gym.
This comes after Alderweireld hobbled off the pitch during Spurs’ 2-0 Premier League win over Manchester City last weekend due to an injury that Tottenham manager Jose Mourinho feared would be a long-term one. However, the Portuguese coach has since revealed that Alderweireld’s injury isn’t as bad as he initially feared.
This training footage of Alderweireld originally emerged on his Instagram account and in the caption of the post, the Belgian centre-back stated that he is ‘feeling better each day.’
So, how did these Tottenham Hotspur fans react to this footage of Alderweireld after it was shared by @thespursweb on Twitter?
