Many Tottenham Hotspur fans have been reacting to a tweet that was recently posted by Spurs-focused Twitter account @LastWordOnSpurs which relayed some reported news on Lilywhites attacking midfielder Dele Alli, who is said to be ‘frustrated by Jose Mourinho’s radio silence’ with regard to his ‘lack of game-time’.
This news was originally reported by the Daily Mail, which has claimed that Alli and Mourinho have not discussed why the 24-year-old has only started one Premier League game for Tottenham this season – their clash with Everton back on 13th September – which was their first league game of the 2020/21 campaign.
This report states that the £46.8m-rated man ‘has fallen rapidly down the pecking order’ at the north London club of late and that ‘it appears clear’ the attacking midfielder ‘is no longer a key part of Mourinho’s long-term plans’.
So, how did these Tottenham Hotspur fans react to @LastWordOnSpurs’ tweet sharing this reported news on Alli?

Plenty of the Lilywhites supporters who replied to this tweet were critical of Alli and his recent performances for Spurs, indicating that they don’t think he has made much of a case for himself to have a regular place in Mourinho’s starting XI with his displays of late.
Dele has only himself to blame please don’t get me wrong I love the guy & I would be delighted if he found his form again
He showed us he still had the passion & motivation when Jose first arrived but then he slipped back into his shell
WHY??
What a team if Dele started playing— SuperHotspurfc (@SuperHotspursfc) November 2, 2020
He’s been hopeless for 2 years… jose has sussed him out …just like every single supporter… his levels are pathetic…

We all know why Dele is not playing. He’s been awful when he plays. The media should not make it a Mou-Dele feud. Any true Spurs fan knows that Dele presently cannot get into this team.

He was terrible against Antwerp passing was awful and didn’t look interested only has himself to blame but as they say form is temporary class is permanent

One particular Spurs fan called for Alli to ‘work harder,’ while another suggested that the 24-year-old needs to ‘show some heart’ to regain a place in the starting XI.
Just needs to work harder and earn his place.

Show some heart then

As per the Daily Mail, French giants Paris Saint-Germain failed with multiple loan offers for Alli this past summer but it is claimed that the Ligue 1 side ‘would certainly be interested again in January if he was made available’ and one Spurs fan replied to this post to indicate that they would like to see Alli move to Paris in January, while another Tottenham supporter shared that they think their club should’ve loaned him to France in the summer.
PSG in January I beg

Alie , like what??
He ain’t playing and when he is it feels like he isn’t.
Should’ve loaned him to PSG with Kean who seems to be reviving his career there.
Loads of clubs would want him on loan and yet he is still here ,probably won’t even be in the squad for Europa.— Emanuela Oppong (@Manu23588) November 2, 2020
Do you have any sympathy for Alli?
YES
NO
So, judging by these Spurs fans’ tweets, it looks as though plenty of the north London club’s supporters have no sympathy for the attacking midfielder over his ‘lack of game-time’ for the club this term.
