Many fans have flocked to Twitter to share their criticism of Moussa Sissoko and his latest international display for France.
This comes after France fell to a 2-0 defeat to Finland in an international friendly.
During the match, Sissoko’s performance caught the attention of a lot of fans, who were not shy in sharing their thoughts on the midfielder’s performance in the defeat.
The midfielder gave the ball away in the build-up to Finland’s opener as he cheaply lost possession in the centre of the field before Brentford striker Marcus Forss was slipped in and scored.
So, what did these Spurs fans make of Sissoko’s latest performance for France?
Sissoko is the guy some Spurs fans think should start for us over GLC because he gives great defensive cover https://t.co/bDrsv4XGtN

Sissoko is absolutely shocking. How he gets in the #Spurs side is beyond me let alone the #France team

I so dislike Sissoko. Doesn’t look or play football like a footballer

Sissoko made his senior France debut back in October 2009 and has since gone on to make 64 appearances for his country, scoring two goals in the process (per Transfermarkt).

Looking at these tweets from this group of fans, it appears that they aren’t best pleased by what they saw from Sissoko in his latest appearance for France.
Moving forward, Sissoko will have to put this match behind him and hope he doesn’t have a repeat performance in France’s upcoming fixtures against Portugal and Sweden in the Nations League if he gets the chance to play in them.
Of course, Spurs fans will undoubtedly be hoping to see Sissoko, who is currently valued at £16.2 million, in top form when he returns to club action.
