Many Tottenham Hotspur supporters have flocked to social media to react to a Twitter post from @TheSpursExpress in which they shared a report from Duncan Castles regarding Demarai Gray.
Speaking on the Transfer Window podcast, Castles reported that at Leicester City, they believe he will be moving to Tottenham Hotspur. The 24-year-old’s current contract at the King Power Stadium is due to expire at the end of this season (as per Transfermarkt) and the winger is said to be unhappy with his bit-part role.
So far this season, he has appeared for Brendan Rodgers’ side just once in the EFL Cup and so you can understand why he reportedly has not wanted to commit his future to the Foxes.

It’s clear from the above responses that most of these supporters are enthused by the prospect of Gray signing for the Lilywhites. The 24-year-old began his career at Birmingham City and moved to Leicester in a deal worth £4.59m (as per Transfermarkt). Since signing for the club, he’s experienced winning a Premier League title and made 168 appearances, contributing 13 goals and 17 assists.
Given he will be available on a free transfer this summer, whoever signs him, it could be argued, would be taking a reduced risk and so it will be interesting to see where the player ends up.
