Supporters of Tottenham Hotspur have recently reacted to a report regarding Heung-min Son’s contract talks with the north London club.
According to a report by The Guardian, Spurs are set to open contract talks with the South Korean international’s representatives to make him one of the club’s highest earners.
It is claimed that Son is ‘likely’ to be offered a new deal which will run until ‘2025 or 2026’ and will be worth somewhere in the region of £200,000 per week.
The report also states that the player is ‘keen’ to stay with Tottenham despite transfer interest from ‘several of Europe’s biggest clubs’ in recent transfer windows.
This was relayed to Spurs fans on Twitter by Hotspur Related – and it had lots of them talking.

According to Transfermarkt, Son has a market value of £67.5m and his current contract with Spurs runs until the summer of 2023.

So far this season, the South Korean attacker has made eight Premier League appearances for Tottenham, in which he has scored eight goals and provided two assists (per WhoScored).
