Supporters of Tottenham Hotspur have flocked to an update on the club’s South Korean attacker, Heung-min Son.
During the recent international break, the 28-year-old forward had to quarantine in a hotel in Austria after six of his South Korean teammates tested positive for the virus (per BBC).
The player still featured for South Korea in two matches during the break – a 3-2 defeat against Mexico and a 2-1 win against Qatar (per Transfermarkt).
During his pre-match press conference ahead of the match with Manchester City on Saturday, Spurs boss Jose Mourinho confirmed that Son had tested negative twice since returning to England (via football.london, live blog, 13:18, 20/11/20).
This news was then shared on social media by The Spurs Express and it had lots of fans delighted.
So, what did these Spurs fans have to say about the update on Heung-min Son?

However, a recent report by The Sun aired concerns that players returning from international duty will ‘more than likely’ test negative upon their return before testing positive next week as ‘the tests do not boast 100% success rates’.
That did not stop Spurs fans gushing over Mourinho’s claim that he would be okay to play against City, though.
What will be the result of Spurs' game against Man City on Saturday?
