How well can you remember Spurs' season so far? 1. Who is Spurs' top scorer in all competitions so far this season?

One of the topics that he spent some time on was the injury that Toby Alderweireld suffered against Manchester City on Saturday.

The Belgian was brilliant at the back for Spurs, turning in a 7.44/10 display (as per WhoScored), which included seven clearances and three blocked shots, but went off injured in the 81st minute and was replaced by Joe Rodon.

The injury appears to be a groin problem, and he could be out for some time.

This led Miller to comment on it, and it seems as if he is indeed very worried about the 31-year-old.

He said: “That was the big downside, for me, of this game.

“He had been so good since he came back into the team regularly and he’s really settled us down, and [himself and Eric Dier] are forming a good partnership.

“He’s not a player that goes down very often, doesn’t like to make a fuss.

“It didn’t look good.”

TIF Thoughts on Alderweireld and Miller’s thoughts on him…

The Belgian has been solid for Spurs this season, earning an average rating of 6.92 for his league displays.

This puts him in seventh place in Tottenham’s squad, which is higher than all of the other centre-backs who have played for Spurs this season.

As it stands, Eric Dier, Davinson Sanchez and Joe Rodon are the only natural centre-backs who are fit that can replace Alderweireld.

However, given that the Belgian has been better than all of them in the league so far this season, we feel as though Spurs will miss Alderweireld while he is out injured.

So, in our opinion, it is up to Dier, Sanchez, and Rodon to prove us wrong in the coming weeks should the centre-back miss out for an extended period through injury.
