Fans of Newcastle United have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relayed a report regarding the club’s support of Steve Bruce.

According to The Telegraph (via NUFC 360), Bruce ‘retains the full backing and support of owner Mike Ashley amongst the ‘growing calls for him to be sacked’.

Despite occupying 15th place in the Premier League table and being eight points clear of the relegation zone, Newcastle are either bottom or near the bottom of the table in ‘almost every statistical measurement for attacking play,’ while also ‘allowing teams more shots and possession in the final third than any other side.’
