Newcastle United fans on Twitter have been responding to the latest images of Toon defender Jamaal Lascelles.
This comes after the official Newcastle Twitter account shared a post on their page that contained four images of the defender in a recent training session after a Toon fan asked the page to share some images of the “birthday boy” as Lascelles celebrated his 27th birthday earlier in the week.
Newcastle signed Lascelles back in the 2014 summer transfer window for a fee of £4.5 million from Nottingham Forest where he then spent the next year on loan.
Overall, the defender has made 174 appearances for Newcastle in which he has managed to score 10 goals and provide four assists along the way (per Transfermarkt).
This post then gathered a lot of replies from Newcastle fans who were quick to share their thoughts on the defender.

All in all, it appears that these Newcastle fans were not really impressed by seeing these images of Lascelles shared onto Twitter, which is a shame considering it was his birthday.
