A lot of Newcastle United fans have replied to a post from Callum Wilson after he scored two goals in the Toon’s 2-1 win over Everton in the Premier League at St James’ Park.
These two goals made it six in seven league games for the 28-year-old, and incredibly it made him match the Toon’s top league goalscorer from last season, Jonjo Shelvey.
Wilson won his side a penalty, which he stuck away.
Then he was on the end of a Ryan Fraser cross that found him at the far post, and he stuck the ball into the net to seal a huge win for Newcastle and move them onto 11 points.
After the match, Wilson tweeted that it was a ‘good three points‘ and that he was happy to add another two goals to the tally.
This post then drew the attention of many Toon fans who heaped praise on their striker.
So, what did these Newcastle fans think of Wilson’s post?

Is Wilson Newcastle's best signing of the summer?
Yes, he has been brilliant
No, he hasn't been that good
Since joining from Bournemouth in the last transfer window, Wilson has been in sublime form for Newcastle, and of their ten Premier League goals, he has scored six and assisted one.
So, he has been crucial to Newcastle, and that can be seen in his average rating of 7.07, which makes him the Toon’s fourth-best player in the league.
Wilson’s tweet continued to draw the attention of many Toon fans who are delighted with their striker.
You were awesome mate. Just wait til the crowds are back, you’ll love the atmosphere at SJP. Looking forward to seeing you hopefully sometime soon mate. So pleased you signed for the Toon ??? #NUFC #HWTL
