Fans of Leeds United have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relayed the post-match comments of Leeds manager Marcelo Bielsa in reaction to the club’s defeat to Leicester City on Monday evening.

Following the match, which saw Leicester convincingly beat Leeds 4-1 at Elland Road thanks to two goals from Youri Tielemans and one each from Harvey Barnes and Jamie Vardy, Bielsa stated his belief that ‘the result was fair’, and that although he felt his side dominated for large spells of the game, they ‘didn’t manage to create enough danger’.

Who did Leeds sign from a La Liga side in September?

So, what did these Leeds United fans have to say in reaction to Marcelo Bielsa’s analysis of the game?

While these Leeds fans appear to be frustrated with the defeat against Leicester, it could be argued that some of their worries regarding the general performance of the team this season may be a little premature, as considering this is the club’s first Premier League season for 16 years, they have already earned some impressive results, including a 1-1 draw with Manchester City, and victories against Fulham, Aston Villa and Sheffield United.

Taking this argument further, Leeds have only lost league games to Liverpool, who are the reigning Premier League champions, Wolverhampton Wanderers, who finished seventh in the league last season as well as reaching the quarter-finals of the Europa League, and now Leicester, who finished fifth last term.

However, this does not seem to have stopped Leeds fans in their criticism, with many more taking to Twitter to vent their anger at the result and Bielsa.

All in all, it would seem that some of these Leeds fans are not happy with their club’s performance against Leicester or their performances at home in general so far this season, as well as Bielsa’s apparent lack of flexibility in his tactical approach to matches.
