Leeds United have recently released footage on TikTok which featured Kalvin Phillips in training ahead of the club’s Premier League clash with Everton this weekend.

After picking up a shoulder injury in the club’s 1-0 loss to Wolverhampton Wanderers back in October, Phillips missed the Premier League fixtures against Aston Villa, Leicester City and Crystal Palace, in which Marcelo Bielsa’s side registered a 3-0 win and back-to-back 4-1 defeats respectively.

Starting with an easy one what shirt number does Bamford wear for Leeds United?

However, following the £19.8 million-rated midfielder’s return to the side for last weekend’s clash with Arsenal, Bielsa’s side managed to get back on track with an impressive performance, despite the fixture ending in a 0-0 draw.

There was an injury scare for Phillips in the match against Arsenal, however, when the 24-year-old hit the deck holding his knee in the 55th minute, while apparently moving more gingerly prior to going down.

Although, it would seem as if this is nothing serious, as in recent footage posted by the club on TikTok, the midfielder could be seen running freely, seemingly without any discomfort whatsoever.

Do you think Phillips has been below par for Leeds so far this season?

TIF Thoughts on Leeds United’s footage of Kalvin Phillips…

While Leeds did manage one impressive result during Phillips’ absence – their 3-0 victory over high-flying Aston Villa – the subsequent consecutive 4-1 defeats against Leicester and Palace may suggest just how much Marcelo Bielsa’s side missed the midfielder in the centre of the pitch given his comeback coincided with a much-improved display to take a point as they were held by the Gunners last week.

However, following the latest footage posted by the club, it would seem as if Phillips has no fitness concerns prior to the Everton clash, which, in our opinion, is extremely good news for United.
