A lot of Leeds United fans have flocked to a post from Phil Hay made during the Whites’ 4-1 defeat to Leicester City.
The tweet was about an incident that happened in the second half of Monday’s match as Luke Ayling was ‘tackled’ in the Foxes’ box by Christian Fuchs, with the referee giving a goal kick – but there was no punishment for Ayling.
This was at an important time of the game as it was 2-1 to Leicester at the time, but Ayling did not get the penalty that could have brought his team back into the game, and Leeds went on to concede another two.
This post from Hay drew the attention of many Leeds fans, who were critical of Ayling.
So, what did these Leeds fans make of Ayling’s dive?
Bad dive that from bill

I do wish Ayling would stop his diving, he does it every time. At the end of the day it’s cheating and not something I wanna see at my club

I hope beilsa makes him watch it back about 50 times .
It was shocking?— Tony Fitzgerald (@ScottTonyfitz11) November 3, 2020
Utter dive…. no need for it.
Ayling was clean through and could of cut it back for a tap in.
We’re better than that.

Oh man, bill diving

Do you think Ayling should have been booked for his dive?
Yes, it was shocking
No, nothing wrong with it
The 29-year-old has become known for the ‘Ayling Flop‘, which seems to be a cheap way to win a foul for his team, but this time there was pretty much no contact from Fuchs on the Leeds defender, and if the Whites had been given a penalty for that, then you would think the Foxes could feel very aggrieved.
Hay’s post continued to draw the attention of many Leeds fans, who saw this as an opportunity to have a dig at rival player Jack Grealish.
Can’t get on board with that one, Grealish would have been proud

That was a dive that would make Grealish proud ?

Ayling went down under minimal contact, and we think it is good that the referee decided to award a goal kick; however, considering there was so little contact, the former Bristol City man could well have been booked for diving.
While he may have got away with it, it’s clear that many Whites fans weren’t impressed by this moment of the game from Ayling.
