Leeds United fans have taken to Twitter to share their criticism for Whites striker Patrick Bamford and his performance during the Yorkshire club’s 1-0 win over Everton at Goodison Park.
It was a night to remember for Leeds winger Raphinha after he scored his first goal for Marcelo Bielsa’s side and the winning goal on the night to secure all three points against the Toffees.
However, it was Bamford who caught the attention of a lot of Leeds fans, but for all the wrong reasons, with many taking to Twitter to share their thoughts on the Englishman and his latest display in a Leeds shirt, as well as his behaviour when he was substituted late on.
So, what did these Leeds fans have to say about Bamford’s performance against Everton?
Great result, not convinced with Bamford and Harrison today they were poor but Raphinha is lethal. #LUFC

Some Leeds fans commented on Bamford’s reaction to being substituted towards the end of the match.
I saw Bamford being petulant at the end.
Maybe he will get the Pablo treatment and Rodrigo gets his shot.???— Olney Whites?? (@RichardBarnaby2) November 28, 2020

Bamford acting like a spoilt brat when he was taken off. It’s not like he scores every chance he gets is it?? Might just give Bielsa the push to start Rodrigo instead of him next week

Looking at these tweets from this group of Leeds fans, it’s clear that they weren’t impressed by what they saw from the striker, even though their club managed to win the game.
With Leeds Live giving Bamford, who is valued at £9 million (as per Transfermarkt), a match rating of 6/10 for his performance, the joint lowest of any Leeds player on the night, saying that they “would have expected more of his finishing around the box,” this says to us that the 27-year-old wasn’t at the top of his game in this match.
