Crystal Palace fan? We bet you can't get 100% on this Palace 19/20 season quiz. We'll start off with an easy one... Which side did Palace face on the opening day of the 19/20 Premier League season?

On the topic of Milivojevic and the possibility of the club selling him in the upcoming January transfer window, Cook had this to say on the matter.

He said: “He has quite a solid reputation outside of our fanbase, and I don’t doubt that we could get a pretty decent transfer fee for him in January if we are of a mind to sell him. Whether or not Roy Hodgson is open to that is obviously open to speculation, but he is definitely a player that has the ‘X’ factor and has that reputation beyond SE25 to get a move and get interest in him from elsewhere.”

Palace signed the midfielder back in the 2017 January transfer window from Greek club Olympiacos for a fee of £13.59 million. Since then, the 29-year-old has made 132 appearances for Palace in which he has managed to score 27 goals and provide five assists along the way (per Transfermarkt).

So far this season, Milivojevic has made six appearances for Roy Hodgson’s side in the Premier League in which he has started two of them.

His performances in those appearances have earned him a season rating of 6.2/10, making him Palace’s 17th highest-rated player so far this season (per WhoScored).

TIF Thoughts on Dan Cook’s comments on Milivojevic…

Cook seems to be under the impression that if Palace were to sell Milivojevic in the upcoming January transfer window, there would be some potential buyers for the midfielder.

However, given how disappointing the Serbian has been for Palace in the league so far in this campaign, some other clubs may lose interest in potentially signing Milivojevic.

With the transfer window set to open in a matter of weeks, Milivojevic still has time to get some good form going for Palace until then.
