Many Celtic fans have been fuming at the performance of French midfielder Olivier Ntcham in the club’s recent loss in the Old Firm derby.

The Hoops recently fell to a 2-0 loss against the Gers at Celtic Park on Saturday. Connor Goldson scored a brace to help the Gers pick up the win and he scored once in each half of the game (as per BBC Sport).

Which of the following clubs has Shane Duffy never played for?

Neil Lennon’s men were without Odsonne Edouard and Ryan Christie, while Nir Bitton and Hatem Abd Elhamed had tested positive for the virus too.

Ntcham had started the game in the midfield, but many Celtic fans weren’t happy with the Frenchman’s performance on Saturday.

What did Celtic fans make of Ntcham’s performance in the Old Firm derby?

Was Ntcham the worst player on the pitch against Rangers?

Ntcham has made 14 appearances in all competitions this season and has picked up two assists.

In the Premiership, he has now made ten appearances for the Bhoys this term and he has one assist to his name in the league. He picked up that assist in the 5-0 win over Ross County (as per Transfermarkt).

Some other Celtic fans were also not happy with Ntcham’s performance against Rangers and they made their opinion very clear.

Some of these Celtic fans believe that Ntcham should be sold by the Hoops.  The midfielder picked up an unimpressive rating of 5.78 in the game against the Gers and it was his worst performance in the league campaign so far.

The 24-year-old was linked with a move to the Premier League in the summer transfer window. Porto and Lyon were also interested in him. Ntcham’s representatives had asked for information from Celtic about their valuation of the midfielder.

That might be the reason why some Celtic fans want him gone from the club and considering his performance on Saturday, it is understandable why fans are not happy with him.
