Many Celtic fans have been talking about a recent tweet that journalist Alison Conroy relayed on social media.

She also said that Celtic are looking to fill in just one position before the summer transfer window slams shut.

Conroy’s tweet caught the attention of many Celtic fans and they made their feelings clear about it.

Are you disappointed that Celtic might not sign Snodgrass?

This comes after Sky Sports had reported that the Hoops have made a loan bid to sign Snodgrass and the report claimed that they are looking at three separate positions before the deadline.

Snodgrass has made three appearances for West Ham this season and all of those appearances have come in the club’s Carabao Cup campaign. He has scored two goals and has picked up one assist in those games (as per Transfermarkt).

In the 2019/20 campaign, he directly contributed to ten goals in 26 appearances in all competitions for the club. All of those contributions came in the Premier League (as per Transfermarkt).

Some other Celtic fans also reacted to Conroy’s transfer update.

There was seemingly a mixed reaction to this news update and some Celtic fans are disappointed by it. Some of them stated they would be happy if the club signed a left wing-back.

It has been reported that Celtic would like to sign a winger this summer and Snodgrass is someone who can play in the wide positions as well.

He can play on the left or on the right and can play in the attacking midfield position too. So he would add versatility to the club’s first team and would bring some experience to the plate as well.

So, Snodgrass could have been a smart signing for Celtic and perhaps he is someone that the Hoops should have signed in this window.
