Many Celtic fans have been fuming at the performance of Shane Duffy in the club’s 3-3 draw against Aberdeen on Sunday.

The Hoops were held to a 3-3 draw by the Dons on Sunday in the Premiership. The Bhoys were 1-0 down at half time, but Callum McGregor equalised early in the second half. Ryan Hedges made it 2-1 for Aberdeen before the Hoops scored two goals in as many minutes to make it 3-2. In stoppage time, Lewis Ferguson scored a penalty for Aberdeen to help his side pick up a point from the game (as per BBC Sport).

Duffy joined Celtic on loan from Brighton and Hove Albion in the summer transfer window and is a boyhood Hoops fan. So far in the campaign, the defender has already scored two goals – with both coming in his first two league games for the Bhoys. He is currently valued at £8.55m, as per Transfermarkt.

While Duffy has picked up the fourth-highest Premiership rating for Celtic this season, he picked up a rating of 5.82/10 in the game on Sunday and was credited with an error in the build-up to Aberdeen’s second. As a result, he was the worst-performing player on the pitch for the Bhoys (as per WhoScored).

It was clearly a pretty disappointing performance from Duffy and it is understandable why Celtic fans are angry at him.
