Many Celtic fans have been fuming at Kris Commons after some of his recent comments emerged on social media.

Commons recently wrote about Celtic in his Daily Mail column (via Glasgow Times). This came after Celtic’s loss to the Gers in the Old Firm derby. He believes that the Hoops seem to have lost their identity and nobody is being imaginative and their style of play looks like a computer game from the 1980s. He went on to criticise players like Mohamed Elyounoussi, Patryk Klimala and even goalkeeper Vasilis Barkas.

These comments from Commons caught the attention of many Celtic fans. They made their opinion very clear about what he had to say.

The Hoops lost the Old Firm derby 2-0 recently. Gers defender Connor Goldson grabbed a brace on the day and the Bhoys now find themselves four points behind Rangers and have a game in hand as well. This was their first loss of the league campaign (as per Transfermarkt).

In his column (via the Scottish Sun), Commons also said that he’s never seen Celtic or Rangers win an Old Firm derby as easily as the Gers did on Saturday.

Some other Celtic fans also had criticism for Commons’ comments about the Bhoys and they made their feelings very clear about him.

These Celtic fans are annoyed at Commons and they’ve made their feelings clear about him. The Hoops do have a game in hand in the Premiership and they’ve played only ten games in the whole campaign.

So there’s clearly a lot of time left in the Premiership season and two Old Firm derbies are yet to be played as well. Celtic fans can only hope that the Bhoys turn the season around soon and win the tenth Premiership title in a row to perhaps prove Commons wrong.
