A lot of Celtic fans have been replying to a tweet that was recently posted by Jack Aitchison, who has left the Hoops to join EFL Championship side Barnsley.
As per The National, the 20-year-old centre forward has penned a three-year deal with the Tykes and he is now set to immediately be sent out on loan to a team in England’s fourth tier for the rest of the 2020/21 season, though his new club will retain the right to recall him in January if they want to.
Aitchison is a Celtic academy product and in his recent tweet, he thanked the club, the coaching staff and those who work ‘behind the scenes’ at Parkhead for making the Glasgow-based club ‘a great place to be’ for him during his time there.
This post caught the attention of many Hoops supporters who reacted to Aitchison’s tweet and his departure from the club.

Whole heartedly wishing you all the best for the future Jack. Proud to say I witnessed you’re goal on Trophy day in 2015 on a rare trip up from Manchester. Might even pop over the pennines to see you again at Barnsley! ???
