A lot of Newcastle United fans have flocked to a tweet that was recently posted by the club’s official Twitter account in which they relayed some comments that were made by Toon manager Steve Bruce about the North East club’s upcoming opponents in the Premier League, Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Newcastle United are yet to lose to Wolves since Bruce took over at St. James’ Park in the summer of 2019, with the 59-year-old’s side taking a point from both of their Premier League clashes with Wolves last season.

As per the Toon’s official Twitter account, Bruce was complimentary about Wolves ahead of his side’s next Premier League meeting with the West Midlands club, describing them as ‘a very good side,’ before he went on to admit that he anticipates this weekend’s clash with Wolves will ‘be a very difficult game’ for the Toon, however, he also shared some optimism about the fact that his team didn’t lose to the Old Gold last season.

So, how did these Newcastle United fans react to Bruce’s comments about Wolves?

The Newcastle boss’ comments on Wolves didn’t go down very well with many of the Toon supporters who replied to this tweet from their club.
