To kick off this quiz on West Ham's 2019/20 season, which side did the Hammers' first win of the term come against?

While Carragher was talking about the Hammers’ ridiculous comeback that saw them score three goals in 12 minutes to salvage a point, the former Liverpool player revealed what he would like to see David Moyes achieve with West Ham.

It seems as if Carragher believes that Moyes can do a similar job with the Hammers to the one he did with Everton, and if given a few years, he could have West Ham high up the table challenging the top six or even the top four.

He said: “I really hope David Moyes does a similar job at West Ham to what he did at Everton.

“[Hopefully, he] gets a good few years there and really makes them [the same as Everton].

“Similar sort of clubs, you would maybe class them as just outside the top six and with a [good] set of supporters.

“David Moyes got really close at Everton really pushing [for] the top six and top four at times, year in year out, and I think that is what the West Ham fans are craving.”

TIF Thoughts on Carragher’s hope for David Moyes at West Ham…

While Moyes was with Everton, he achieved four top-six finishes in 12 Premier League seasons, so a good record.

However, since leaving his job at Goodison Park, he has not achieved one top-six finish with any club he has managed.

So, while he has proven he can do it in the past, he has not done it for a while, but it is good to see that Carragher has that sort of confidence in Moyes.

The Hammers have started the season quite well, having picked up seven points from their first five league games, which has them in eighth place, so maybe if they can keep up this sort of form, the Hammers might be high up the table by the time the season ends.
