Many Tottenham Hotspur fans have been talking about the latest update involving Giovani Lo Celso that recently emerged on social media.

Spurs boss Jose Mourinho recently confirmed that Lo Celso has sustained a hamstring injury because of which the Argentine will miss the club’s upcoming Premier League clash against West Ham. The Portuguese manager also confirmed that the injury isn’t exactly serious and the former Paris Saint-Germain man could return to action next week itself (as per Football.London).

Lo Celso, who is currently valued at £31.5m, has made five appearances in all competitions for Spurs this season. He had scored two goals in the club’s Europa League qualifying games. In two Premier League games, he is yet to score or assist for Spurs (as per Transfermarkt).

Some other Spurs fans also aired their concerns about Lo Celso’s fitness and injury issues.

Since initially arriving at the club in the summer of 2019, Lo Celso has missed a total of ten games due to injuries. He had missed eight games because of a hip injury last season. Earlier in the current campaign, he had missed a game due to a thigh muscle strain (as per Transfermarkt).

These injuries have restricted him when it comes to playing in the Premier League and because of that, it is understandable why Spurs fans are frustrated about the Argentine’s fitness.
