Spurs fans on Twitter have been reacting to a report on Twitter suggesting that Hertha Berlin have targeted a loan move for Moussa Sissoko.
According to German news outlet Sport Bild (via Hotspur Related), the Bundesliga side was eyeing the Frenchman on loan before the end of the summer transfer window as they look to add a defensive midfielder to their squad.
It would perhaps be a surprise to see the former Newcastle man depart the north London club, not least this late in the window, considering he started and impressed in the weekend demolition of Manchester United, earning a 7.52/10 rating for his performance (per WhoScored).
Whilst that was just his first Premier League start of the season, he has also made appearances in the Europa League and Carabao Cup this season, suggesting that he is important for squad depth in Jose Mourinho’s side and therefore it perhaps seems unlikely that the Portuguese manager would sanction a move away for the 31-year-old midfielder.
Would you allow Sissoko to leave on loan?
No
Yes

We shouldn’t let him go as we have a lot of games and we need a squad

No chance the goat leaves after yesterday’s game

Not only does he provide the physicality in the midfield, he’s a great personality off the field too.
Aurier, Tanguy and everyone else loves Moussa. Don’t think we need to send him out.

Spurs fans seem to be in agreement that the Frenchman shouldn’t be allowed to leave the club on loan.
Not in a million years, the only players that are allowed to go went on loan and still danny rose and Gazzniga no one else.

Can’t believe I’m saying this but this can’t happen

Overall, it seems as if a lot of Spurs fans are keen to see Sissoko remain with the Lilywhites, especially after his impressive performance at Old Trafford.
