Spurs fans on Twitter have been reacting to the reported news that Eric Dier has suffered a minor hamstring injury and he will now miss England’s game against Denmark on Wednesday night.
According to Sky Sports (via Last Word on Spurs), the Lilywhites defender is nursing a minor injury which he picked up during international duty, which will see him miss out against the Danes in the Nations League fixture on Wednesday. The 26-year-old played the full 90 minutes in the 2-1 win against Belgium on Sunday, earning a disappointing 5.95/10 rating for his display (per WhoScored).
The former Sporting Lisbon man has been a regular in Jose Mourinho’s side so far this season, playing 90 minutes in all but two of Spurs’ fixtures in all competitions (per Transfermarkt). Across his four appearances in the Premier League, the defender has averaged a less than impressive 6.52 rating (per WhoScored), although you imagine that, having started every game in the top-flight so far, he was perhaps expected to feature against West Ham in Spurs’ next fixture on Sunday, although this reported injury may have cast doubt on that.
Do you think Dier will be fit to face West Ham?

Overall, it seems as if, understandably, the majority of Spurs fans are not happy to hear that Dier has picked up an injury problem during international duty.
