Spurs fans have flocked to a tweet from Dele Alli following the 7-2 win against Maccabi Haifa on Thursday night.
The 24-year-old came off the bench to score a goal against the Israeli side from the penalty spot, and the Englishman shared some footage of how he won that penalty on Twitter after it was originally shared by British rapper AJ Tracey, from Premier Sports’ coverage, which has delighted a lot of Lilywhites supporters.
The former MK Dons man produced a sublime piece of skill to nutmeg the Maccabi Haifa defender inside the penalty area, who subsequently brought him down.
The midfielder has been linked with a move away from Spurs in recent weeks, with PSG amongst those interested in signing him on loan, as he has been dropped from Jose Mourinho’s first-team squad for recent fixtures.
However, he was back in the Portuguese manager’s squad for the Europa League playoff game on Thursday and he impressed after coming on as a half-time substitute, earning a strong 7.57 rating for his performance (per Whoscored).
