Many Tottenham Hotspur fans have been slating Dele Alli’s performance in Spurs’ 3-0 UEFA Europa League win over LASK on Thursday evening.
Alli was introduced to this game in the 62nd minute and in their post-match player ratings for this game, the Express gave the 24-year-old Englishman a ‘5’ which was the joint-lowest rating that they gave to any Spurs player in this contest.
None of Tottenham’s starters in this game were given a rating this low and two of Spurs’ substitutes were also given a higher rating than this, with Alli and Moussa Sissoko the only two Lilywhites players to be given a rating of ‘5’ from the Express, though late substitute Jack Clarke was not given a rating at all.
So, how did these Tottenham Hotspur fans react to Alli’s performance in this Europa League clash with LASK?
Disappointed with Dele Alli’s performance today. He looked a touch slower than others

Plenty of Tottenham supporters were unimpressed with the £46.8m-rated attacking midfielder’s performance in this match and they flocked to Twitter to air their criticism of Alli.

What really happened to Dele Alli???? He isn’t this bad… something is technically wrong with him… his passes forward are so poor!! #thfc #COYS

This game saw Alli make his fifth appearance for Spurs this season. He has started just two games this term – Spurs’ Premier League clash with Everton and their Europa League qualification clash with Shkendija Tetovo – while he came on as a substitute in this game, Spurs’ Europa League qualifier versus Maccabi Haifa and Spurs’ Premier League win over Manchester United.
So, Alli clearly hasn’t been a regular member of the starting XI this term and one particular Tottenham fan suggested that his performance versus LASK showed why this has been the case.
This is why Alli is holding bench. Poor pass.

Some Spurs supporters went so far as to suggest that the 24-year-old should be sold.
Dele Alli it’s time for you new home. The PSG bench pic.twitter.com/5dA4W5j41A

Do you think Alli was poor versus LASK?
YES
NO
Judging by these Tottenham fans’ tweets, it certainly seems as though Alli didn’t make a very positive impression on them with his performance versus LASK.
