Supporters of Tottenham Hotspur have recently reacted to some Juan Foyth statistics which recently emerged on social media.
On Thursday night, the Argentine centre-back played the full match during Villarreal’s 5-3 victory over Sivasspor in the Europa League (per WhoScored).
The 22-year-old defender played a key role in the clash as he scored a goal and also provided an assist for a teammate.
Not only that, but the Spurs loanee also attempted 75 passes in the Europa League clash, 100% of which were completed accurately – the highest of any player who made over 10 passes in the match.
These stats were relayed to Tottenham fans by Last Word On Spurs, which had lots of them talking.
So, what did these Spurs fans make of Juan Foyth’s stats for Villarreal?

Some game for him. Goal, assist, yellow card, they conceded 3 at home, but scored 5 and won…
Glad he’s getting some game time – let’s hope he matures into the player we think he can be.— Sanj (@hod_almighty) October 22, 2020

In early October, the Argentine defender made the move to Villarreal on loan and is set to stay with the La Liga side until the end of the season (per Transfermarkt).
Would you like to see Juan Foyth be a first-team regular for Spurs next season?
No, he's not good enough
Yes, he's got potential
Would love to see him back next season in contention

Should have gone on loan years ago to develop. He’ll be a much better player for it

Should’ve kept him

During the 2019/20 Premier League campaign, the 22-year-old defender made only four appearances for the north London club in which he neither scored nor assisted.
His performances, too, were weak as he delivered an uninspiring 6.05/10 average rating across the four outings.

As can be seen in these responses from Spurs supporters, many seemed to be pleased that Foyth had performed well, however, some felt that it indicated that the £11.7 million-rated man would not be returning to The Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
